Hi Traci,
If you set your phone up as new, the only thing you wouldn’t lose is your
contacts which are stored in the cloud. You may have to go into settings and
turn them on. You also won’t lose your saved passwords in key chain. You will
also retain some Voiceover settings.

Sorry that was a mess. I am running the beta and Braille is not working
correctly in mail.
What I was trying to say is that if you do choose to restore after what
Sieghard suggested, restore it as a new phone as to not create the same issues
you were having. Just my thoughts.
