Re: Sharing links on twitter via Safari extension
Yes, that makes sense. That is how I expected it to work but the links were nto in my twitter posts, just the title showed up in my timeline. The weird thing is that it’s working now. I wonder if Twitter and it’s URL handler or whatever it’s called was down for a little bit or something. All I know is that it’s working now just fine. :) > On Apr 19, 2016, at 7:47 PM, Penny Reederwrote: > > Hi, I think the link shows up after you send the tweet, inside the > tweet itself.I use Twitterific on the IPhone. Re: Sharing links on twitter via Safari extension
Hi, I think the link shows up after you send the tweet, inside the tweet itself.I use Twitterific on the IPhone. I tweeted a link to a New Yorker article this morning. I used "Share" at the bottom of the article, and selected Twitter, I wrote a short message about the article (which just won the Pulitzer Prize - and then hit "Post" or "send" or whatever it says. Then, listed among my Tweets in Twitterific, I saw my tweet, I clicked on it by tapping, and the link was at the top of the next page, where I could tap on that and open the article. Hope this makes sense. Penny p.s., If you want to tweet super-easily from your pc, download EasyChirp.com -- it's fantastic, and it even includes a feature that automatically shortens the URL so it will fit inside your tweet. Sharing links on twitter via Safari extension
Hello, I feel pretty dumb but I can’t figure this out. If I am in Safari and I want to share a link I can’t get the link to show up on the tweet. When I am on the web page I want to share, I tap the share button at the bottom. Then I click twitter, or tweetings. I have both apps on my phone and I have tried both. Then a dialogue pops up with a tweet with the title of the web page already typed up. I cannot find the link anywhere. However, the number of characters left has less than it should. I therefore thought that the link would show up once the tweet is sent. However, when I looked at my posts they did not have a link. Anyways, I have tried everything I can think of. Am I supposed to copy the link to the clipboard before I try to share it to twitter, then paste the link in?
