Yes, Siri does work for finding and opening any app. However, I'm often in a
setting where Cannot use Siri and would rather enter the name of the app in
spotlight search using my braille display. My issue is that this method
sometimes works, but other times it yields no results.

I've not had any issues with Spotlight search, but I don't have nearly that
many apps.
