That is interesting. with Verizon the device is automatically detected via sim
if there is a device change.

I spoke with Xfinity since they are my carrier,
I spoke with Xfinity since they are my carrier, and the reason to get a new SIM
card rather than sticking with the old one, is that at least for Xfinity, they
would not know what the new phone is because the SIM card ID would say it was
the first generation SE since that is what I have.
They are
