Running IOS 10.3.2 on an iPhone 6, I have found that if I hit the home button
at the end of the video, then open YouTube again, the collapse video button is
there. Occasionally, I have to do this twice to get it to appear. I have been
experimenting with this only since reading the original post
I noticed that issue as well recently. I don't have a solution other
than what you mentioned. I would also suggest those affected use the
Feedback item recently described on list to send feedback to the
YouTube developers. Since they release updates extremely often,
