We have Sonos, and I have home sharing enabled in iTunes, so my wife can access
my entire library through Sonos.
Now, No extra cost for family sharing involved.
Through iTunes home sharing, you can share your library over your network.

Hi. I'm thinking of getting family sharing for apple music for my wife. What
will she have access too? I have ripped all of my CDs to itunes and also
have Itunes match so all of my rips have gone to the cloud for Alexa to
play. Will she be able to see all of my library? Thanks.
