If you have an account for Dropbox or OneDrive, you could simply
transfer the Voice Memo files to one of these services. If you don’t
have an account, these services are extremely useful as a blind
person. These two cloud services in particular are highly accessible.

only way I can get them to my pc is to email them to myself. Is there an
easier way to get them into itunes and then convert them to mp3 files??
