should see where it shows you everything that's using iCloud with the 
ability to toggle it off. So you would turn it off and then go make 
the changes to your contact and hit done. Then go turn the iCloud

help with getting rid of a number

Morning to you all, my problem is I have a person in my contacts list who has 
changed their number.  I deleted the number and replaced it with their new one. 
 when I type their name in messages to send them a text I still get the other 
number coming up as well as the one I want.  I deleted the contact completely 
and re entered their details but it is still coming up with the other number.  
any help please?  Janet
