In a few weeks I need to give a demonstration for several people. I have
an iphone 4 and would like to use airplay to give this demo if at all
possible so that i can keep my iphone connected to power (it is 3x 45
min and am not sure that my poor phone can keep up with htat

AirPlay will not stream VoiceOver. That's expressly designed that way
-- it's a feature, not a bug. However, if you pair your iPhone to
speakers via Bluetooth, you'll be able to hear VoiceOver through the
speakers. A Jambox or Big Jambox from Jawbone could handle this for

images to the room? I thought a beamer would suffice for sound/video
passthrough until i thought about th epossible issues with battery life.

Hi Anouk, yes, you can stream video along with the VO cursor to an AppleTV.
I've given presentations this way before.
Unfortunately though, you will need a separate audio out with a cable to stream
the VO audio. so the short answer really is yes and no. :)

thanks Esther! I unfortunately didn't have access to any BT devices at my
presentations (Even at the Apple Store - Go figure! lol!) but BT is certainly a
better / cooler option then going wired, for audio…
