Hi All,
How can I stop receiving notifications from facebook? I went into settings and
removed FB from the notification center, but I am still getting notified every
time someone friends me or says something about me and it's driving me crazy.
Any help is much appreciated.

You should be able to enter text in the search field then just hit enter. Make
sure you are pointing to the category in the source list where you intend to do
your searching, whether that's music, movies, podcasts whatever.
What version of iTunes are you using? Are you using the Blindtunes scrip
There are several options including to display restaurants that are open at the
time you do the search. Depending on what you search for and the time of day
you may see only a few choices.

It's under settings, gen.. You have to flick pretty far down the list. Keyboard
is the next one after date and time. Double tap keyboard and you should find it
in there.

What I do is first locate a program I want to watch. I then open the search box
and enter the title of that program. I can then tap on it in the search results
which takes me to a screen with a play button. It's rather cumbersome but does
work reliably.

Have you tried turning off the phone by holding down the lock button for 3
seconds, letting the phone power off then plugging it in. While the phone is
plugged in, restart the phone by holding down the lock button for 6 seconds.
After a short time the phone will vibrate and VO will come on.

You can archive books but not delete them entirely. Those you archive will say
not downloaded when you flick past them in your device library.

For some strange reason my notes seen to be emailing automatically, in other
words I don't tell the app to do anything with the note and yet the next time I
open my email the note is there and gone from my phone and I really don't know

button at the bottom of the screen. You should be able to double tap that

This work around works for the individual day in question, however it doesn't
correct any but that particular day. The remainder of the month still shows no
appointments despite several appointments actually being scheduled. This is a
rather serious bug in my opinion.

I buy a lot of books including novels from several different sources — amazon,
audible, iBooks and nook. Before digital downloads I used to buy books on tape
especially if the title was from a favorite author. I just like to support them
in their writing. I also borrow a lot of books from NLS, m
I like the Bose earpiece. It has good sound quality and a long battery life.
Its biggest drawback is the price.

Hi All,
When playing a track in the music app, there is a hint that says double tap to
see more controls. But when I double tap the only thing that happens is the
music is turned on or off. I know this used to work for me but I have no idea
what I'm doing wrong. Can anybody help?

After it says editing app and you hear the sound you have to double tap to get
rid of whatever app it's editing. if you do that, then go back into the app
switcher you will see that the app is now out of there.

Recently I shared instructions for creating ringtones in iTunes. After sending
the instructions, I heard back from someone who was told by apple accessibility
that it is no longer possible to create ringtones in this way. When did this
happen?
