The key thing about BlindSquare is while it is excellent for some things, it is not a true GPS app itself. If you want a route to some place, you can use BlindSquare to look that place up and speak the amount of Points of Interest along the way, but it will launch either Google Maps, Apple

Yes and it should be on by default. It is my favorite GPS app. I am often the navigator for my wife. Keep the VO focus off the next turn which is in the upper left corner, or it will drive you 'round the bend chattering all the time. But you can also touch there to get the distance to the next
