And because of these limitations a dedicated colour identifier like the
Colorino or Rainbow are still your best option.

Too much variation in lighting.
If you could insure absolutely the same lighting each time, you could learn
what a given app calls what color. TapTapSee does an OK job, but I would not

Can any of you recommend an easy to use, but pretty accurate, color
identifier App?
I don't mind purchasing an App. As long as it is quite accessible. Also,
I am not the best at being able to use my camera. So something pretty
simple, or with some guidance would be great.
