Re: Irritating mail issue that started with iOS 9
Looks OK to me but Richard did post an URL that was confirmation of a change made to GMAIL. (I'd forgotten that this list, and others, were under my GMAIL account and not NTL, etc.) Anyway, another member kindly sent me a link of clarification. I only know that the one change I have made is to put in a "Reply to" address. Hello, sorry if I step on the mods here, but, rather than Carol, Sandy, and anyone else, this issue is to do with their provider. They can change name, install any updates, change clients, you can, too. we can change group server, it will not change. I know googlemail, AOL, and yahoo are certainly effected. not sure what else is. Carol, not picking on you here, but several people seem to have set up their Email accounts without their name, so Emails to the list from those folks look like they are coming from the list not from the individual to the list. Jenny, myself, Harry, Mary, Sieghard, and many, many more; show their name in the from field in the list of messages, followed by the subject. But Carol, Sandy, and I think Ari among others it just says ViPone list, Re: Irritating mail issue that started with iOS 9 I have no idea if this is related at all. I've only seen something like this after I've selected to reply all to a list message. I have the same issue. For some reason it says something about Carol Pearson's email also. Nothing against Carol, but I would rather it just save the email address V iPhone at Google groups.com. Mary, I have the 5s and I do not have that issue on iOS 9.3. I don't think I ever had that problem. Now, if you have people in your contacts that you have copied along with the VIPhone list, the app could be remembering that they are part of a group. If you do reply all, this could be what is happening. I have a contact for VIPhone list which I think helps.
