RE: Looking for a bluetooth headset

2020-07-01 Thread Richard Turner
The Aftershokz Aeropex bone conduction headphones can seamlessly switch between
devices.
They do not fit all people. They do come in two sizes, Mini for smaller people
and standard for larger people, though sadly, my head is a little to big for
them to be comfortable for more than about 30 minutes.
They sit just in front of your ears on the bone and use vibration instead of
standard speakers so your ears are open for the surrounding sounds.
The sound quality is OK, not great.
They are $159.99 from Amazon, and have about an 8 hour battery life.
I just tried them and am glad Amazon has an easy return policy because I sent
them back.
I have a woman coworker who has the Mini size and loves them.
I don't know if returns are as easily done where you live, but you have to buy
and try them to know if they can work.

others, I’ve never once regretted extending it.)" - Edward Herbert

Subject: Looking for a bluetooth headset

Hello list,
please, would anyone recommend a single bluetooth headset (exact model)that can
be paired simultaneously with two devices at the same time, and supports
seamless switching between Iphone and Apple watch without having to switch the
headset off/on each time.
I need the heased to listen to GPS navigation only, but seamless switching
between two devices is necessary for me.
Please, I don't want Apple Airpods.
I know the subject has been discussed here, but unfortunately I lost the thread.
Thank you very much for your help in advance.

RE: Looking for a bluetooth headset

2020-07-01 Thread Simon A Fogarty
I've had mine a few years now and I've never noticed this,

I can say there have been a few updates to firmware but I'm not noticing any
volume related issues.

Although I do only use mine during zoom or other audio visual conferencing
calls so not a lot really.

Well the apple air pods would be the go to but if not them then check out the
Plantronics voyager edge and or the voyager 5200

There is probably others out there but these I've had dealings with.

The Plantronics models though are only for 1 ear.
