No, Apple Books are just for the Apple Books app. Having said that, if it were not copyrighted, and was in ePub or PDF, yes it will; but those are far and few between. The nice thing about having different text to speech voices is that when you read a bookshare book and it comes from a different country you can find the voice with the appropriate accent. If I read a book that took place in England, I could use a British accented voice, or maybe Australia, I could find a voice with that accent. Each voice only costs $5 per voice. Good luck. Hi, Oh I forgot about that sorry. I love voice dream reader I was hesitant to get it because I thought I would be very confused trying to use it, so I started to use read to go but as time progressed I listen to everyone’s suggestions and downloaded voice dream reader and have never been happier. I still have read to go amongst all my apps, but never use it. Occasionally I do use dolphin easy read. I know a while back, Bookshare began offering downloads in ePub format in addition to Daisy and MP3. Indeed, since then my default download format is ePub so I suppose in theory one could listen to Bookshare books in any sort of iOS eBook reading app including Apple’s very own books app, but I personally have not felt the need to use anything other than Voice Dream Reader so I can’t be absolutely sure about that. Re: Reading from Bookshare on IPhone
Hi, As you indicated in your message, you do need a reading app to read books on Bookshare. Dolphin will work, voice stream will work and I believe it’s called read to go which is the Bookshare app but your best bet is either dolphin or Voice Dream voice stream is very accessible but it is not free where is dolphin is. I hope this helps.
