No, Apple Books are just for the Apple Books app.
Having said that, if it were not copyrighted, and was in ePub or PDF, yes it
will; but those are far and few between.

text to speech voices is that when you read a bookshare book and it
comes from a different country you can find the voice with the
appropriate accent. If I read a book that took place in England, I
could use a British accented voice, or maybe Australia, I could find a
voice with that accent. Each voice only costs $5 per voice. Good
luck.

Hi,
As you indicated in your message, you do need a reading app to read
books on Bookshare. Dolphin will work, voice stream will work and I
believe it’s called read to go which is the Bookshare app but your
best bet is either dolphin or Voice Dream voice stream is very
accessible but it is not free where is dolphin is.
I hope this helps.

I have no idea as I've never used apple books. It depends on what
format apple ebooks are in and if the books are in any protected
format.

Re: Reading from Bookshare on IPhone

2019-12-09 Thread Richard Turner

you can download in Word, ePub, DAISY, or BRF.
The problem with word format, is you have no easy way to navigate sections, or
get back to where you stopped reading.
Voice Dream Reader is truly the best app for reading Bookshare books, and for
my money, most other files.

Hi,
As you indicated in your message, you do need a reading app to read books
on Bookshare. Dolphin will work, voice stream will work and I believe it’s
called read to go which is the Bookshare app but your best bet is either
dolphin or Voice Dream voice stream is very accessible but it is not free
where is dolphin is.
I hope this helps.

Do yourself a huge favor and purchase voice dream reader. It will be
the best money you've ever spent. After a very little amount of
practice, you'll figure out voice dream reader. It is very easy to
use. I upload bookshare books to dropbox then download them to the
app. You can purchase loads of high quality text to speech voices
that make reading an ebook loads of fun. I just listened to a Harry
Potter Fanfic and it was great. The nice thing about having different
text to speech voices is that when you read a bookshare book and it
comes from a different country you can find the voice with the
appropriate accent. If I read a book that took place in England, I
could use a British accented voice, or maybe Australia, I could find a
voice with that accent. Each voice only costs $5 per voice. Good
luck.
