I do this with old time radio shows as well, such as: the shadow disc 1.zip. I use Itumes file sharing to transfer the zipped files to voice dream reader. I do not have a PDF app and I've opened and read PDF files. Are you using the latest version of Voice Dream Reader? There was a bug concerning PDF files that was fixed in the latest version. John, Yes, you can play mp3 audio files in Voice Dream Reader and also change the speed at which they read. When you've got the file in your library and selected it to play, choose audio settings from the top line menu and a speed bar will be presented where you can select the playback speed. Also, mp3 files in your library will be audibly identified as audio by VoiceOver.
