Hi Mark,

I reboot my watch every day also and I still have this problem. I can be 
anywhere in my watch and it will go to sleep for no reason.

Yeah!  It's weird that I have not yet experienced this.  However, you can be 
certain that I am now on the look-out for it.

Perhaps my experience has something to do with the fact that I reboot my watch 
at the beginning of every day?  Just a guess.

There is and it is set to I think 15 seconds on my watch and it locks whenever 
it wants. Mark, you must be the only person I have heard from who doesn't have 
the issue of the watch randomly locking. Like I said, sometimes I press the 
button to unlock it and it instantly locks again or it does after just a few 
seconds. At times I do something and maybe I want to change watch faces so I 
get ready for a 2-finger swipe left to right or vice versa except by the time I 
start the watch has locked itself again.

I have my watch to never lock unless I take it off my wrist, and it does
just that. I have never had it lock inadvertantly unless I took the watch
off.

I know that my watch will lock when I drop my wrist, or if I flip my wrist away 
from me. 
I believe this behavior is correct. I admit it does lock before I’m ready 
sometimes, but I’ve usually moved my wrist slightly, and I’m again assuming the 
watch thinks I’ve dropped my wrist out of viewing position.

This is very interesting.  

As far as I am aware, I have never experienced this bug on my Series 2.  Nor, 
it seems, can I reproduce it.  I have the latest software installed.

I have wrist detection enabled.  

So curious.  

Perhaps I do not fully understand the nature of this bug.  However, in my 
experience, the watch behaves exactly as expected.

Every Apple Watch owner/user should report this with outrage to Apple 
Accessibility since this has existed for a long time and no update has 
addressed this. Sometimes I press the digital crown to unlock my watch and 
before I can even move my hand to touch it it locks again or I'm in the middle 
of doing something and it just locks. This is probably one of the most 
frustrating things apart from the sluggishness of the series 2 with Watch OS 4. 
This got a bit better for me after doing a factory reset, but it's still a pain 
in the neck. Also, I use my watch for swimming in the pool and when the watch 
is wet and fingers are wet it's a pain also to use it, I sometimes try for 2 
minutes to tap the "EEnd" button to end my swim and the watch locks and does 
all sorts of things except register my double tap. And no, it is at that point 
not in waterlock any more.
