Re: Bookshare on the iPhone?
I have never used easy reader, and I'm certain with no doubt at all, that VDR is better. I've got loads of Harry Potter fan fiction and I enjoy putting a few stories on to VDR after I uploaded them to dropbox then reading them in VDR. Re: Bookshare on the iPhone?
Voice Dream Reader is by far the absolute best app for Bookshare or any other document type you wish to read. The problem with Dolphin Easy Reader is that if you do not want to use Daniel UK voice, you have to buy another voice for $6.99. Including iOS voices that are built in to your iPhone, where Voice Dream allows you to use any iOS voices, plus provides one Acapella voice with your purchase of the app. Easy reader is much harder to navigate within books. And seems awkward to use and I do not even know if it allows you to read other file types. Yes, it is free, and if you cannot afford Voice Dream Reader, then it is what you are stuck with. Also, you can easily contact Voice Dream's developer while there is no direct contact for Easy Reader. Re: Bookshare on the iPhone?
Hi Rebecca. You should purchase the voice dream reader app for $15. This will quickly become the best $15 you've ever spent. Voice dream reader allows you not only to listen to bookshare books, but audio books as well. You can also read other Ebook formats like .txt, or .epub and also .PDF to name just a few formats. You can use the IOS voices to listen to your Bookshare titles, or you can purchase additional high quality voices like those from Acapela, Ivona, or Neospeech for only $5 per voice. I have a few bookshare books on my iPhone, but I've been reading some Ebooks in .txt format, and this works beautifully with the Voice Dream reader app. On 2/25/20, Rebecca Degeorge wrote: > I am a subscriber to bookshare.org, and would like to read books on my > iphone.
