Hi all. I like using my phone for taking notes together with a braille display. It depends on how you have set up your braille display if it will go to sleep. It also depends on how many cells a display needs to have. I tend to recommend a 32 cells display from human ware (Brailliant 32 bi)

There is a serious delay when inputting braille on iOS 8. But reading braille is just fine. Hopefully the input problem will be resolved in iOS 8.1, but who knows. The new Vario Ultra braille displays from Baum are very nice. You have a choice of 20 or 40 cells. They have I think 32 GB of

One really neat feature in iOS 8 with a Braille display is the ability to have pages turned automatically. I use this in iBooks and it is quite nice. I don't have to turn the page, then hunt for the start of the next page's content. Now, when I get to the bottom of the current page, a message pops

I have a Focus 40 braille display and use it all the time to take notes with my iPhone. I use the Notes app for this. I did not know that notes sync with Outlook, so I am happy to learn this. I have no problems going to the next line with my Focus and it stays connected very well. I do have IOS 8
