I had the same problem with my phone not wanting to connect to wifi. I rebooted 
the phone, reset network settings and restarted the wifi router, all with no 
improvement in the problem. The only thing that did help was to turn off wifi 
assist. I can’t remember who suggested that or even if it was someone on this 
list, but since turning off wifi assist I haven’t had the problem. T

Hey, Reggie!  Thanks for the encouragement.  They say it could take up to a 
week for our power to come back.  I am planning on putting in a claim to my 
house insurance company for the food I have lost in my fridge and freezer 
combination.  Anyway, take care and it was so nice of you to write!  At least 
the weather here has calmed down and it's lovely!

We have lost our power also. Not back yet. Thank God Gail and George went out 
and got some coffee for us. Anyhow, I just want the people involved in taking 
care of our electricity to be safe and make sure all is OK before everything  
Goes on.  It’s frustrating for us but it’s got to be more frustrating for them.

Although we’ve had some crazy tornadoes in recent months but even they are new

Biggest issues we have is earthquakes  but the  UsA is having a pretty bad run

Everything else in my house is connected to wifi and working fine.  My iphone 
would not connect when I got home this evening.  I am asking for ideas on how 
to get it to connect again.  I have tried the following:

  1.  Chose wifi from the settings menu and tried to reconnect.  I typed in my 
wifi password and the phone rejected it.  This has happened several times.
  2.  Powered off phone and back on.  Still no wifi.  Went to wifi in setting 
and tried to connect.  No luck.  Wifi signal shows 3 of 3 bars, but can not 
connect.  Help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Try turning off wifi, then turn off the phone.
After turning it on again, turn on Wifi, and see if it connects.
If not, you may have to do a reset network settings.
If none of the above work, maybe call Apple Accessibility for more ideas.
