using Siri Male, but whq not try out Tom to see how is sounds? I'll finally be

Hi all, I prefer the Australian female voice (Karen) as she can speak extremely fast without sounding very silly. I find that Alex sounds really weird when you try to make him speak as fast as I like my synthesized speech. I do have Alex on my work phone which is a six because that is the phone I demonstrate to customers if we could but on my iPad and new iPhone it has to be Karen. Oh, mine didn’t switch automatically, I had to press on the trackpad before Alex started speaking. Doubt Alex is available on the Apple Watch series 2 due to the hardware. I did keep Ava of all the new voices. I'm going to give her some more time. I thought I might like her as a possible Kendra replacement for that inevitable day. But now I'm not sure. Well, to be very honest, if somebody had made the old triple talk voice into a software version, like they did for Dectalk, I would use that with a screen reader. I still have one of those triple talks in an old machine that I use. I'm used to it. I've had one for I can't tell you how long, starting with the double talk. And there was one particular variant that I got very used to. So eloquence? No thank you. But I would love the triple talk. I have always noticed that when the discussion about voices comes up especially with an app like Voice Dream where there are lots of options you ask 10 people and you probably get 8 different answers. Voices are super subjective, I do like Tom, but still use Samantha Enhanced maybe simply because I'm used to her just as I prefer Eloquence for use with Jaws even though the high quality voices available are also very responsive and all. I'm not saying one can't ask for the opinion of others, but in the end you just have to try all of them out for yourself and decide what you like. I'm still using compact Samantha, though I've added enhanced Ava to my rotor. Out of all the new voices, I like her the best. Kate has a really weird upward inflection with commas, otherwise I'd like her If I NeoSpeech ever came to iOS, though, I'd ditch Samantha and Ava for Kate in a heartbeat, with James as my secondary US voice. Hi. I am still using Alex, but I have also selected Tom as a backup. I like Tom because he is a louder voice and more distinct in his speech. I'm very hard of hearing so Tom works well for me.
