IMHO, breaking accessibility for any reason is unacceptable, but developers updating the an application to improve it's appearance is perfectly acceptable and understandable. I think this is akin to Apple updating tones and text to speech voices in IOS 17. Supposedly, to go along with the redesign of SiriusXM itself, adding more channels and more “star power”, there is going to be a redesigned app. Hopefully star player will continue to work, because heaven knows what they will do with the redesign. Ron, Yes, I have the platnum account and it works fine. You simply login to your Sirius account in the StarplayrX app, and you are good to go. Are you talking about SiriusXM? If so, you can check out StarPlayrX. I'm not sure if it's still being maintained or not. I pulled it down and used it a while ago, but I ended up just getting used to the SiriusXM app. Also, note the spelling of the app, i.e. there's no 'e' in StarPalyrX. That's ridiculous, you'd think a company as big as serious XM would have their app development streamlined so that everyone had the same thing. I'm moving my convo about it here now but, like I said in the other thread, it should be able to determine which channels you have access to via country inside the app. Honestly, if one app can be pretty much completely accessible, there should be no excuse for other versions not to be.
