Are you absolutely, positively sure that no one is using Remote Desktop (RDP) or Fast User Switching (FUS)? Also, are you sure the server is running as "Local System Account" (Properties->Log On for the service)? I am assuming when this happens that there is no one there do do remote diagnostics

Stephen: Encryption will not help prevent "session hijacking". It's used just to insure the privacy of your communication. Anything you do over an un-encrypted VNC connection can be captured, saved and replayed in the future. That kinda gives me the creeps. :) Typical SSL encrypt
