Looking at the documentation for vnc, unless you have specifically set the ports to be in the xx50 range (i.e. The default being 5800/5900), I would change your open ports to those that you find in the vnc server configuration. Also, you state that you have a DSL modem. If you are able to

Free Edition working with Vista

We are trying to get into a vista box using the free edition of VNC. We can get out but everytime we try to get in we get an error stating that the connection closed unexpectedly, or another error stating read: Connection reset by peer(10054) Any ideas on how to get around this? David A.
