The first user to log in gets the main display and the service mode RealVNCServer will only work for that user knocking back to login screen if another user tries to get in with fus if a second user logs in with FUS I Have used user mode vnc on a different port to allow me to get in steve Paul

minimize full-screen vncviewer from script

hi, I am running vncviewer in full screen mode from a linux system. When ever I pop-up a window from a acpi event, the window comes up in the background, which I would like to come in the foreground. Is there any way to do this, or if not so then is there any way to minimize the vncviewer window

Paul Sounds like a User/privilege issue in Windows. Specifically, I suspect that you installed the service under an Admin account, but perhaps are logged in under a different account - when the VNC connection is attempted. If this is the case, Windows will switch to the user login screen. A
