Here're the first thumb of rules to reduce the possible scope of problem cause: 1. Do a ping to the VNC server's computer. Use pure IP address first. Do you get any reply? If no, then you've probably got network problem OR your VNC server's computer is blocking ping (a firewall?) Make sure

Oh, I am sorry. My description confused you! I said But I can't connect the VNC on Windows XP using vncvier..., That should be :But I can't connect the VNC on AIX5.3 , I using vncviewer on WinXP.it report 10061#(Connection refuesed#) on vncviewer. Any new idea? Thank you!

Hi, all I download a vnc-3.3.3r2-6.aix5.1.ppc.rpm (there no vnc rpm for 5.3, only this for 5.1, I think it's ok also) from IBM.com, and install it on AIX5.3 successful by : rpm -ivh vnc-3.3.3r2-6.aix5.1.ppc.rpm and I start it on AIX5.3 by : vncserver :1 At first, it said :can't open
