To use NT Logon Authentication you need a password or you must change a

Hi,
Is there any way to blank the physical PC screen
while I am connected remotely?
In RealVNC there isn't the option you want. I know that this option is
present in
TightVNC.
Or maybe not to affect the screen saver etc when
connecting?

To my knowledge there is no FTP (File Transfer Protocal) to transfer a file
between to remote computers.
However something simple like any chat program does. Example I used yahoo
chat to transfer files remotely rather that getting a dedicated FTP program

Hi,
first of all an indication: there are two password to configure in VNC,
a system
level password and a user level password. A system level password is used
before a
windows user logon (VNC used like a windows service), a user level pasword
is used
after a windows user logon. To
I am recent convert from Microsoft Remote Desktop.
Is there a way to blank out the screen when one logs on remotely? I
don't want somebody sitting at my desk watching me work.
I am running 4.3.1 Enterprise on Windows XP 32.
TightVNC have the feature you want.
Bye,
Claudio.
That's fine, but what about the encryption option?
TightVNC does not support encryption.
That is the biggest issue, I need encryption between the client and server.
You can use an SSH tunnelling or e VPN connection, are client and
server on
the
same LAN?

Multiple people can view a single PC but VNC has never provided multiple

Seriously doubt it. AFAIK, you can't do two way simultaneous
communications.
Isn't completely true. If Ray is talking about BGAN, it's possible only
using some
specific VASs (value added services) like the Transparent IP by Stratos.
Using the standard
