Does anyone know of a white label provider that can deliver service in Massachusetts?I can pick it up in Boston (1 Summer, 230 Congress or 300 Bent).800 homes is not enough for me to justify building my own head-end, hoping I can wholesale off someone else's head end. Re: [VoiceOps] Looking for whitelabel IPTV provider
I was to looking for a solution like this but there are way to many gotcha¹s. The easiest and cheapest solution will be is reselling dish or direct. We where looking for a similar solution but then locals where brought up you will have to encode your own, then hbo and turner don¹t like these setups so you¹ll have to setup your own large dish¹s to pull these down. We ended up going with a full blown IPTV solution running minerva middleware with vubiquity channel lineups. You will have to get your nrtc contracts in place ect. Re: [VoiceOps] Looking for whitelabel IPTV provider
A nearby co-op telco, around your size or maybe a little bit larger, is using HITS http://www.hits.com for their TV services. Last time I talked to them about a year ago it was an RF overlay downstream, no return. Physical plant is FTTH for their entire service area. Re: [VoiceOps] Looking for whitelabel IPTV provider
Colton, Yes I meant to send it to the VoiceOps list. I know many are members are CLECs and some have TV solutions already. Not sure if NANOG is the right list either. Skitter TV looks interesting by the channel line-up is horrible. I’m looking for something that can stand in for regular TV. Channel surfing and all that. Roku AppleTV is a clear winner for the long term. Many older residents don’t have the tech savvy to configure a roku and figure it out. They want to turn on the TV and hit channel up/down Thanks -Matt -- Matthew S. Crocker President Crocker Communications, Inc.
