OTOH, One might accomplish the same thing
by pressurization with CO2 or a lump of Dry ICE.
No pun intended. :-)

Howdy John,
As in the physical sciences, one must keep an open mind else we all wind up
at MIT playing keepaway.

What does this have to do with Methernitha?
Sorry, that was one of the subpages:
http://website.lineone.net/~aarekhu/
is the main page with the pictures.
Fred,
When electrodes are soaked in the carbon suspension and applied
with direct current voltage, the deposited carbon powder is
adsorbed on a positive electrode. This electrolytically
deposited carbon powder is referred to as electrolytic oxidized
carbon powder in the present invention.
For those unfamiliar with the hybrid-waterfuel concept - called
the shandy mode in Oz ... here is a video from down-under, using
their equivalent of a Hydrobooster (onboard electrolyzer).
Even using untreated water, this one improves mileage by nearly
50% with no loss of power.
Jones,
I'm not so sure that CO2 from the air on pre-conditioning, or exhaust gas
recycle on
an ICE doesn't form reduced carbon Nanoparticles/clusters:
CO2 + H2O H+ + HCO3- --- 2 H+ + CO3 =
CO3 = + 3 e- --- C + 1.5 O2
Please leave the link URLs in a reply. Thanks. :-)
Of course -
IOW, if you use a battery instead of sunlight CO2 can be reduced to
C and O2. Nature does it when building fats, oils, and Lignin in plants.

Thanks. Does anyone know if Paul Potter's model has been built and
tested?

I am having trouble posting. I hope this makes it through at least
once:
You can view the 16 plate cell at:

I am open to suggestions on how to proceed. Each plate has dual
electrodes; so, many configurations are possible.
