Hi,
What is the flux of fast electrons needed to create the kind of visible
Cherenkov radiation seen in pool-type fission reactors?

Dear Friends,
A bit of information scarcity till now, see:

Waiting for surprises is an oxymoron, isn't it?

That's a good question Rich. I will have to review it. It may have only to do
with the elastic constant and the wave number. I am not sure if these systems
have a zero point orbit.
Very good question. I have no answer for now.

Mark,
This looks like a fair appraisal of the expected pressure, but once again, the
MFMP departed slightly from Rossi and Parkhomov by apparently using tubes of
higher purity than typical sintered alumina tubes, which have about 6% porosity
(based on full density, see below).
The LENR theory of cosmic inflation, dark matter and dark energy
In the very beginning after the hot big bang, there existed a mixture of
light and matter. You might think of this stuff as a polariton sea. It
would have a very small mass because mass is a property of order of EMF
spin
You can determine how much pressure is produced inside the core if we add
gas filled metal micro particles to the fuel mix.
The degree that the metal micro particle is deformed is a indictor of how
much pressure the micro particle was exposed to.

One big problem that the cosmologists have is meeting the mass requirement
the effective mass that the pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone bosons must have to
produce Dark Energy.
