Vortex is here as a safe harbor, without any believer/disbeliever battles
pushing out the tech; the CF/OU/odd-physics.
Aha! Every time these start up, we can't point to RULE 2, since it
only forbids scoffer-vs-woo, yet the usual problem has been religion.

I think it is a very pertinent discussion regarding issues of CF inside the
larger science community:

Thanks for posting this - as it brings up a number of valid points and ideas
for experimentation. Ironically one of the least valid is a relationship to
Mills’ CQM.
Moreover, it is also a bit confused about application to anything other than a
methodology involving nanotubes and/or an
I thank you Jones and I hope the idea will be tested experimentally. soon.

The claim is completely false, Peter. Even laughable.
The technology came from Armenia and is completely non-nuclear.
We can categorize LENR theories into two distinct classes based on the
mechanism of causation, local and remote. The Casmir cavity theory is a
local theory were the cavity causes fusion close to the cavity. Ed Storms
theory is a local theory where the reaction occurs inside the crack. Local
Daniel,
I agree with you that the age part is not so essential. It is a little bit
true because there is a common believe that Einstein had it right. I think
the attitude is of more importance than the age. I am amazed that the
report does omit the big change in how the funding society works and

This is an excellent article.
I do agree with the age argument. Especially physics is a young person's
game.

There have been many objections to how flow calorimetry has be done in the
Ni/H reactor demos.
If a demo must be done using flow calorimetry, in a LENR environment when
flow rates are irregular with peaks and valleys in the flow rate, where
steam might appear which could be wet or dry or both,

Maybe the next time I go to Reno the male prostitute who solicited me in the
casino hotel elevator will have found a different kind of gainful employment,
including real health insurance.

Is such a concept in the toolbox of the professionals that perform

Hardly. What he probably saw: A 50+ year old male looking for a good time.
Unfortunately, no purchases were made in that elevator.
