Hello All:
I will soon be moving to Bunbury and I was wondering if there is a MUG down

I am preparing to make the leap [of faith?] to OS X in the near future. I
think I read somewhere that the ISP must support OS X before I can connect
to the internet via my dialup modem connection. I know that's vague but its
all I can recall. I don't see how/why my dialup settings would alter or

Pricing on all types of memory remains very high but this week - the
first time in MANY weeks - we have a RAM special!
We have 256MB RAM modules for the PowerBook G4 (400 or 500MHz),

current market price but stock is limited. You

Since I sent out an email about a SW Mac USer Group I have received about
10 emails expressing interest if such an organisation were formed.
Since I am on the receiving end of these emails, I am saving all the email
addresses of those who have expressed interest. So if anyone else

After talking with AOL tech support, I learned that the

Hi All
When apple-tabbing through applications, is there a way to hide the
application one has just tabbed from as the next one opens up (i.e.
without having to perform a separate operation via the apple menu)?
Thanks, John Bussell
if you use the tear-off application menu instead of tabbing, then you can
use option-click to make all applications hide (except the one you are
clicking, of course)

Two questions:-
1. In the future can I junk the current system folder, copy
