In iTunes, within the advanced menu there is a convert selection to
mp3 option (note - I'm not at my mac right now, so the wording for the
menu option not be right) iTune supports aiffs.
So, add the aiffs to iTunes (dropping the files or folders of aiffs into
a newly created aiffs collection
