In iTunes, within the advanced menu there is a convert selection to mp3 option (note - I'm not at my mac right now, so the wording for the menu option not be right) iTune supports aiffs. So, add the aiffs to iTunes (dropping the files or folders of aiffs into a newly created aiffs collection

If it is not a commercial DVD, it may have the wrong file permissions. 10.2.5 fixed this. Or you can use the command line to copy the files to your HD, change the permissions to read or read/ write and rewrite the a new DVD giving it the same disc name. This has worked for me. Frank On
