Hi Rod,
The best value external drives are really 160/200/or 250GB, with 250GB
offering the lowest cost per GB.
The prices differences between 2MB and 8MB drives are minimal and when you
consider your getting a 3yr warranty on 8MB drives instead of 1 yr on the
2MB drives, this is definitely the b

the Australian iTunes shop issue is more likely to be one of getting
Apple being able to negotiate with or around the larger local music
industry types, who as we've seen with the CD import issue, are
fiercely parochial and self protective of the rather cosy little
money spinner they've got.
Any upgraders have any opinions/reviews of Office 2004, particularly

I'm interested in the new note taking in Word, but am just wondering if
the upgrade is worth the expense? Is it fantastically different?
Thanks in advance.

Rod, you don't want everyone having Mac's do you? Don't you want that
exclusive feel, comforted in the knowledge that your superior taste
separates you from the plebs and gray mass market of the drones with

Hi All!
Just wondering if anyone else thinks the same way. Prime example would be
the iTunes Music Store. We are in the middle of one of the biggest rating
shows of the year, Australian Idol, which I would figure would be the
absolute prime spot for advertising the iTunes Music Store. Yet we h
It works on the laptop, that is the updating of Office 2004 did not result
in a loss of the old settings and email.

I've updated the laptop as well! I don't know if its data is there or
not 'cos I merely shut it down.
Oh well, back to Apple Mail for awhile...

Rob, I just re-read your email - it sounds like you're not getting MPEG-2
appearing as an option in FCP or DVDSP despite having the MPEG-2 component
already installed? I assume you have the latest version of the playback
component installed?
In FCP, are you able to select

Morning All,
The above component of Quicktime should be available within FCPHD or
DVDSP3?
This computer has both, but Quicktime is not showing for export or
accepting .m2v files for viewing, I know it used to, but since upgrade
to OS X .3.5 we have a stalemate.

There has been a number of updates across the Office 2004 apps. And it all

I don't own an iSight so this is all guesswork but it may work. The iSight
uses a streaming protocol so one possibility may be to try and use something
like QuickTime Broadcaster to connect to the iSight. It has an audio and a
separate video selection panel where you can select the source.
