Hi folks
While in UK in March, I bought a Tesco pre-paid SIM for my iPhone 3G.
I remember I had to call their helpline to set it up and they talked
me through some settings on the iPhone to use their voicemail.
I have just discovered that my phone is still using Tesco voicemail

Have you plugged it into iTunes yet. You might need to try a software update to
download a new carrier file which contains these settings.

Have not seen any post about LogMeIn?
A staff member who has Windows at home suggested LogMeIn so that she
could access one of our iMacs at work.
What the advantages, disadvantages of LogMeIn compared with Back to My
Mac?
Can a Windows PC get access to an iMac using LogMeIn?

If you and your mac are on the same network all you need is VNC. It's already
built in on OSX and the windows client / server are free.
The benefit of logmein and back to my mac are that you don't need to be on the

Have fun

My brother in Law is going to the US in a few days for a holiday and he was
wondering if he could buy an iPhone 4 over there outright and bring it back
here to use with his Telstra Sim Card.
I am not sure if they are locked to AT T or if there are any other
restrictions to him using
I might try that. I haven't plugged it in since OS4 came out. I wasn't
going to bother with the os upgrade as I will be getting a new one
soon. In the UK I was guided through the iPhone settings to do it as
the card had defaulted to O2 (Tesco's carrier) but the voicemail
settings had to

Hi Wamug,
I recently updated my iPhone 3GS to ios 4 late last week. The update
completed normally.
Since the update I've had about 4 situations where the iPhone just drops out
mid call and goes to restart mode ie. black screen with the Apple logo in
the middle, and a minute or two later the

Try typing Download Manager into version tracker |http://www.versiontracker.com/macosx/

I've used iGetter in the past but not for a while now, it still gets a
good review though it is a $25 shareware.
Cheers
