Hi all,
We've a few old G3 iMacs to get rid of if anyone is interested (would they be
useful in Bali Kev?):
Blue iMac
- 500Mhz G3
- 384MB RAM
- CD-RW
- Firewire
- dead HDD (but boots fine off external HDD)
Blue iMac
- 400MHz G3
- 192 MB RAM
- 10GB HDD
- Firewire
- CD-ROM
Light Blue iMac

Martin,
I no longer do stuff for Bali, but they would be fine for local
distribution. So, if nobody else on the list wants them, I'll grab
'em ta.

Hi Kevin
I'll also have some iMac's and eMac's for you soon too, and may have a
couple of hard drives lying around for Martin's iMac's if you take them.
Will email you once I've worked a space to them,...lol :)
Kind Regards
Daniel

Hi Everyone
I went to copy a new program I received today with Toast 10 and found it unable
to copy disk to disk, it just hung after pressing record and requiring a force
quit. I tried trashing the preferences and reloading the program without
success. I looked on the Roxio site but saw no
Hi,
I was notified that iTunes has an update so I went ahead with it as

But half way through the upgrade script failed giving this message ..

I've been wondering about something just like this.
Been considering getting the cheapest iPod Touch as a home remote.
My entertainment unit is a little different:
A written-off Macbook Pro which had it's screen broken.
I removed the screen, losing WiFi :-( , connected an S-Video adapter

Yes . Just burnt one of two episodes of Stargate universe- one an MKV file and
the other AVI. It took all night- the first attempt came back with an error
number so I quit out. I have never seen Toast that slow it was more like a slow
mouldy hardening.

Hi Peter,
Did you try the Roxio reply to your question?
Try this workaround. Choose Save as Disc Image rather than clicking the red
button. When that is finished go to the Disc Image setting in the Copy window
to select the disc image and now click the red button to burn the copy.

Hi Ronda
No success I'm afraid!
As soon as I pressed the save as a disc image button the coloured ball started
spinning and the program ceased responding requiring a force quit.
I guess I was wondering if anyone else was able to burn disc to disc after
updating to System 10.6.5 using Toast
I am making this announcement ahead of Pete Smith's regular posting because we

Hi Peter,
I decided to test this myself as I had not used Toast for quite some time.
So under 'Copy' I created a Disc Image (of a 7.24 GB disc) then burnt to a
Verbatim DVD+R DL disk using Toast 10.0.8.
Result: Everything went as normal.
To create the Disk Image took 35mins (which seems

Hi Ronda
This problem has only arisen since upgrading to 10.6.5. Of course this might
not have anything to do with it at all, but I wanted to track it down before
going further in investigations.
I add and re-itterate the following points:
