Hi Chris, No good backing up the drive until you repair it. Could I use either the OS 10.4 or the 10.5 disk to use Disk Utility? You have OS X 10.4.11 installed on your MacBook Pro, so you need to use the OS X 10.4 install disc to repair the drive. Repair Disk won't worry your Bootcamp
