I have been following Ronni's suggestion that I close applications with Command
Option Q (haven't had any more episodes of 'forgetfulness' by the Mac). I just
wanted to mention that there are a few applications that do not respond to that

Not all Applications will respond to the same keyboard shortcut commands.
For example; iTunes 11 iPhoto will NOT respond to Command-Option-Q to Quit,
they only will respond to Command-Q.

a disk it does not revert to origional file name.
Reason : family history research.
Or does anybody know how names of people in photo can be edited on to photo

A) iPhoto - How to Add Captions to Your Photos:
1. Select a photo in the “thumbnail” Photos view to highlight it or double
click on a thumbnail to take it into the Edit
