Hi Diana,
Sorry if I¹m missing the point but, if the iPad Sim isn¹t working, how could
you activate it and use the iPad as a hotspot to send the email?
Cheers
Neil

Happy new year to all.
Not too happy here, yesterday iinet had an outage, we were off the air all day.
Now we have a dead phone line and a modem which can't detect ADSL.
It probably won't be fixed for a while so I bought a SIM for the iPad. It is
activated and I am using the iPad as a hotspot
Hi Diana, you may have Mail and Safari switched off in your data settings. It's
a way of saving your data to be able to switch apps off and on for using the
data SIM card. It doesn't affect other devices logged on to your wireless
hotspot. Clearly the SIM is working or you couldn't be using it
Thanks Neil & Susan
The answer came to me in the night. I had tried the iPad as a hotspot using
Wi-Fi and I hadn't turned off Wi-Fi so the iPad was trying to use it first, but
it wasn't connected to the Internet.
