I have a similar problem and request. Following The Storm I've lost internet connection with only one of my iMacs at work. When i connect the ethernet cable from that iMac to another wall socket I can access the internet. I presume that it is the wall socket. What can I do to find out

sounds like your wall socket has a build in filter, if its just a wall socket then corrosion or burned could be the problem when you plug in a phonedoes it work? has it a lot of static? are you using the same cable to connect to another point? you may rely on adress below for further
