Hi Rod
I can definitely recommend the Epson EcoTank series - I sell a lot of them to
my clients and find them very good.
(And we run two at home - one specifically for photo printing and one for “day
to day stuff”. It replaced my colour epson laser I had. And the running cost is
very cheap. On

Hello Wamug Friends
It looks like my Canon Pixma MX700 MFC is dying - Error message 5200
(printer head overheating). The one thing that has bugged me a lot is
that the scanning function (to pdf) has always been painful. It
certainly was not simple easy it always took a long time to
Hi Alex,
I use the HP F370 All in one printer.
It has a scanner, printer and copier. It cost me about $120 I think.
Although it might be discountiued.
They are a good little printer and do the job. If you want high res photos,
its awesome, but, it is an inkjet so it is not as good as maybe a
Hi Alex
Although a different model, my experience with a Canon Pixma MP640's
scanner has been impossible. According to the specs, this unit
should scan, copy and print okay on my iMac (OSX 10.4.11), via WIFI
setup. I've set it up with Airport, and I will say that the printer
works

There is another consideration here. It is the running costs of the

Hi
I'm thinking of getting an A3 inkjet printer for genealogy charts and
the like (not too bothered about photographic quality) Anyone out there
got an Epson 1160 or Canon S4500? Do they work with OS10.2.3? Any
problems? Are consumables expensive? Any recommendations appreciated.
Thanks
Mike
