I am not bothered, and certainly won't return mine, which I bought for the new

That makes sense. Except that they kept the iPad 2. It's a bit like iPhone

Hi Laura
Sorry for delayed reply, but yes, as others have said, it's all handled
through iTunes.
Back up current model and then sync with new model and restore from the
backup.

Got a few of the new ones sourced on backorder for clients
Hi Daniel
Thanks for taking time to reply. Thanks also to others who responded to my
query about transferring info to new iPad. I should have known there would be a
simple solution.
There could well be a number of old iPads up for sale!!
Kind regards

The iPad v1 pricing is very attractive. Even though the new version is
coming out, consider an 16GB iPad at $449 could be great Birthday present!
For anyone who bought one in the past 14 days (or knows someone who did) see
the following regarding refunds...
Big W have the 16GB WiFi version for $398 at the moment.

Hi Laura,
I may as well anticipate Daniels reply and tell you that yes it is very easy to
get all you data from an iPad to and iPad 2. They will both be running the same

new one.

Although, from my own experience of upgrading the iOS, your documents
within applications may not transfer to the new iPad. Maybe because they
