Updates & i Tunes

Hi all, having been away a few weeks I've just allowed all the security updates to install (OSX, 10.3.9)... I now can't open I Tunes from the dock? Is this an issue because of the updates, I would imagine the updates are for Tiger or is that not an drama? Any help much appreciated, Ken Jacks
