Before I order a battery from China, I thought I would try WAMUG listers.
My daughter's G3 900mhz iBook battery has died. It is the 14 model.
Anyone have a good one for sale?

Hi Bill and Susan
I tried the option Bill suggested but I can't get the NEF files into
Elements at all.
The only Bibble Labs software I could find is $89.
Re the Adobe software, I can't get that to work either, maybe I'm not
operating
Hi John,
Follow the instructions at the bottom of this page: How to Open NEF

NB. You cannot save as a NEF file, save as jpg, png or tiff.

I suggest you change the password for the problematic email account at the ISP
end, then try sending a test email. You should be prompted to enter the new
password for the Mail account on your computer's Keychain. You may also get a
prompt for a password to to open the Keychain.

Many thanks Susan, David and Ronni for your suggestions.
It is definitely not an iiNet problem. Nor does it concern settings
which have been checked, double-checked and re-checked.
I did indeed try removing the account and adding it again as a new

Hi John,
On re-reading your reply to Bill Susan saying you can't get the NEF

Have you downloaded and installed the latest version of Adobe Camera
Raw?
You might need to update the Adobe RAW Plug-In to be able to open NEF
files.
You can check which version

Thankyou for the printer gear. The driver loaded well and the
printer responded to the print command, but unfortunately the output

Thanks Ronda
I will try all this and get back to you. I have Elements 4, an older

Hi John, it does depend on whether Elements 4 will allow you to
install the latest Adobe RAW plugin. Its a separate little program
that opens the NEF files, allows you to do some editing, then you have
the option to open it in Elements.
If you are unable the install the plug in, your
Nikon's NEF files are RAW files, Nikon just uses a different name to

I usally save the pre-work files as PNG and come back later when I
need to do work.

Thanks for your reply. I will try a couple of different drivers from

Recently, I noticed in Sharing that it is named Sevs G5 (5) and the
accompanying message tells me that other users can connect using Sevs
G5-2.local which proves correct, and Sevs G5 by itself no longer works.
What is going on?
