Hi all, Wondering if anyone has any ideas. I have a Mac Pro 2012 which has a SSD. (El Capitan) Over the last year, I keep getting a box appear saying I’m almost out of memory. I can release some by using Clean My Mac2 but it is not until I do a restart will I get back all the memory

Hi Julie, it would help to know the size of your HD and how much of it you are using for your applications and documents. Click on your HD icon and go to ‘get info’ which will give you that information. Then post it here so that people can offer practical solutions. At least a tenth of your HD

Hi Jewels, 256gb should be fine to run your applications if you don’t store a lot of music and photos on the HD. It’s puzzling that you would be having problems with the HD filling up. I have a MacBook with 128gb that doesn’t have any problems with running out of memory even using Office 365,
