Quit Mail, and in Finder navigate to your Home/Library/Mail folder
Then to your particular email account name folder
In there will be one called Outbox.mbox
You can drag that whole Outbox.mbox to the trash.

I have at long last cracked a long running problem with my G5 1.8SP/
OSX10.5.8.
In general it has acted cranky, erratic and sluggish at times and in
particular it was taking 25 secs to be put to sleep, rather than go

It is sad to learn of the passing of a WAMUG friend.
Can a friend be a friend if we never met, face to face?
I believe so.
I have not met many WAMUG friends but I value you all for your positive support
and on-line friendship.
Take care

Hi James,
I’ve just found time to re-read your email and noticed that the problem you are

Good Morning Everyone,
A friend is hoping to change to a Mac, but is unsure whether there
could be problems with the accounting software they use in their

this including successful importing of data?

Yes indeed. The irrepressible Prof Dick Anderson taught me as an undergraduate.
I am part of a cycling club that includes his daughter and ride with her of a

Prof Anderson will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Do you have any recommendations for text-recognition software that will run
natively on a 64-bit Intel Mac? If so, please let me know. I need such an

Hi Ray,
I have only ever used free OCR products that come bundled with scanners so far,
so I can't give a personal recommendation, but I read with interest the review
that Brian provided of ABBYY Fine Reader Express. I just wanted to point out
that if you bring up the Mac App Store and enter
Hi Ray --
-- I have a version of Omnipage SE which came free with my Canon MP140

want more details, contact me off-list.
