Sorry Juliet.
Not sure if you know this.
You use iTunes on the Mac to sync your iPad.
So it is in iTunes that you need to go to Music and tick that Album.
That is once you have created the Album in Photos on the Mac.

Hi Juliet.
I created an Album in Photos on my iMac called iPhone Stephen.
And another for my wife’s iPhone with a similar name format.
You could do the same for your iPad.

Then drag the photos you want on your iPad into the Album you have created.

Next time you plug your iPad into your Mac to sync, go to Music and check that
Album as the one to sync.
You can then change your photo options from time to time in that Mac Photos
Album.
So each time you plug in and sync your iPad it will update the photos.

Try starting in Verbose Mode (hold down Command & “V” when starting up). This
will take you to a black text-based display full of code, but you’ll see all of
the various processes as they launch during the startup phase. No guarantees,
but it may be helpful in identifying just what is causing things to shut down.

For more info, look at https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT201573
, or search for “Verbose Mode Mac”.

iMac freezing part way through start up ?

2016-11-29 Thread Stephen Chape
Hi folks,

My iMac is a December 2012 model 21.5 inch with i7 processor.
I am using the latest macOS Sierra.

During the past 2 weeks it has frozen about 80 percent through the startup bar.
I have had to hold the power button till it shuts down.
Then restart …. each time with success.

Any ideas why this may be happening and how to fix it please ?

Stephen Chape
