Application to extract multiple email addresses from pdf or text document ?

Hoping there's a solution for this. I'd like to automatically extract a bundle of email addresses from a pdf document (which I could easily convert to a Word or other text based document), exporting the email addresses to an ordered list. Each email address mentioned within the document

I have a text document full of email addresses, maybe 5,000 of them, but many are duplicated. I want to strip out the duplicates. I came across eMail Extractor, but before I go down that route and pay for something that I will most likely use once for a single job, does anyone know
