Hi Rob To use TextEdit to edit html files. You Will need to open TextEdit and goto its preference Menu Go to the Open and Save tab Then when opening a file Then tick the box next to ignore rich text Commands in HTML files I also do use Taco HTML Edit from time to time http://tacosw.com/ Kyle
