With "our" mod project we are nearing a stage where I would like/have to tamper with scripts and stuff. And it is so uber-secret that it can be publicly accessed on Gna ;) And more explicitly: I am not looking to come up with something better, at least currently. I just do not want to waste my time on writing scripts in a language which becomes obsolete the second $new_cool_dev_who_vanishes_after_three_weeks pours his/her language into the game... For what it is worth, at this stage, we are pretty much at the same location we were with the LUA branch in terms of code. The only thing needed to finish that was the campaign stuff as well. In any case, are you looking to come up with something better than what we have now, or are you in the process of doing some new secret project, and wish to know if you should continue to use JS ? -- Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
